Our commitment

LIFE aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. The site is not yet fully conformant: this page describes the measures in place and the limitations we know of.

Measures in place

  • A “Skip to content” link at the start of each page leads straight to the main content.
  • Links, the menu and the form can be used with a keyboard, and the active element is outlined.
  • On small screens, the menu opens without JavaScript and closes with the Escape key.
  • Screenshots too wide for the screen become scrollable areas, labelled and reachable by keyboard.
  • If your system asks for reduced motion, scroll-in effects, parallax and decorative animations are turned off.
  • Photographs, generated images and screenshots have alternative text describing what they show. Purely decorative elements are ignored by screen readers.
  • The language of each page is declared, and each page links to its version in the other language.
  • Each page has a single main heading and a hierarchical heading structure. Without JavaScript, the content remains complete.

Known limitations

  • Some small gold or green text (labels, links) and the outline that marks the active element when using a keyboard do not yet reach the contrast ratios required at level AA.
  • Decorative animations (light rays, halo, slow zoom of the home page image) have no pause button. They stop when your system's “reduce motion” setting is on.
  • The screenshots of the workshop and of Levelborn are images, and the interfaces they show are in French: their text cannot be selected or enlarged without loss. The essentials are described in their alternative text.
  • After you send the trial program form, the confirmation appears on a Google Forms page, outside this site.
